Cramps?: It could be a circulation issue or an electrolyte issue, or a combination. See a doctor for a simple blood test and examination. You don't mention if it is in both legs, but used the plural "calves" so i'm guessing it is both legs. Are the pains after some activity, or a certain time of day? More information is needed to be sure of what may be going on.
