What is the difference between pruritus and urticaria?

Similar : Pruritus means itching (and not necessarily a rash) while urticaria refers to an itchy rash that is raised, red, round to oval lesions that come and go. The problems that cause itching (pruritus) without a rash can be different than the causes of hives (urticaria).
