Normal: Swelling for weeks or even months after blunt trauma is normal. You notice it more in your face. Be patient.

Facial lymphedema: Is very uncommon. I agree with dr. Welker. Persistent facial swelling after blunt facial trauma is common. Lymphedema is not.
