Not a problem: Give it a try. That should not be a problem. It is over the counter. However, if persistant, ask your doc about singulair (montelukast) and nasal steroids.

Yes you can: Yes you can take extra nyquil. You might also want to try otc allergy eye drops to help relieved your eye symptoms. However, those are weak medications and only work for mild symptoms. At this stage, it would be better if you seek professional help to treat your symptoms more appropriately to prevent you from getting a sinusitis.
