Acne ? Re-evaluation: If the prescrbied medication has not helped much during the time frame, consider a 2nd opinion if the proper diagnosis was entertained.

I am suffering from acne vulgaris mainly in my back & face, sometimes they form as nodules which doesn't come out out of skin but subsides on its own. Dermatologist Doc. suggest Doxycycline LB 100mg OD for 4 weeks, is it safe to take it for so long??
