Have to give time: Genioplasty (chin augmentation or reduction ) surgery done only 5 days ago, you to be patient , give time to heal , till the edema to goes down , may take another 3wks. You have to discuss with surgeon about your satisfaction, or out come of the surgery or your expectation

So early yet -: Post-op edema takes some time to reduce, intra-oral incision needs time to heal & some bone remodeling needs to occur before you make a final assessment. At this point your whole lower lip, chin & submandibular area are probably swollen which creates distortion for you to be able to truly evaluate. Postop radiographs demonstrate extent of advancement, which can be measure in mm. Ask at your f/u.

Genioplasty : if you are not happy with results now, most likely you will not be happy in future. Perhaps jaw surgery would be more appropriate.
