No special diet: You do not need a special diet during your menstrual period. But once a month maybe you can assess how healthy your diet is -- plenty of vegetables, fruits, lean meats or other proteins, healthy fats, complex carbs and avoiding processed foods/white flour, etc. It never hurts to see where we are in taking care of our health. :-).
