Top of foot hurts: It could be a number of things , but arthritis and tendonitis are the most likely. A more complete history and exam are required. See a podiatrist for help . Good luck !

Foot pain: There could be many reasons for this pain. Was there trauma or a sprain at any time prior to it hurting? Do you have a history of high arched foot, flatfoot, history of several ankle sprains, infection? Although i'd love to be more definitive, just need more information. Please get evaluated in person, you may also need diagnostic imaging (xrays) to determine cause of pain. Good luck!
