I think not: There are "enthusiasts" who'd like to see everybody tested and most people put in a restrictive diet regardless of results. I'm skeptical. No one questions the tremendous value of gluten restriction in celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis. When symptoms of neither disease are present, I'd doubt the value of ordering labs -- despite being myself a lab specialist. Best wishes.
