Yes.: As you know, the risk of down's increases in your age group to approximately 1 in 10. There are multiple screening tests available. These are offered during all pregnancies and are typically done with plenty of lead time for you to make an informed decision about your pregnancy.

Yes there is : However, i don't know how accurate it is .I know a case her lab test came back negative , but her child had down syndrome.

Yes: The definitive test is an amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling. There are screening tests to determine whether or not these invasive tests may be appropriate for any given pregnant woman. The screening tests carry a false positive rate that may increase anxiety but the two tests above will tell you one way or the other.
