Cough: Probably just have a pharyngitis either related to an upper respiratory infection or post nasal drip induced cough with sore throat. If you develop difficulty breathing or swallowing (start to drool) or talking audibly then you should go to the ed right away. In the absence of those symptoms, probably ok to treat conservatively with otc medications. Stay hydrated!
