HSG: Typically a test like this is not performed unless you have been trying to conceive for an extended period of time--typically a year for someone your age. A hysterosalpingogram, or hsg, is performed by instilling dye in your uterus, and seeing if it flows out of your fallopian tubes. Your obgyn can set this up for you if necessary.
