Only that the prior: "shave" caused irritation and inflammation before the definitive excision was performed. Atypical may also be part of the previous shave causing microscopic changes. It's gone now, so protect the area and avoid ultraviolet as it heals. Any sign of recurrence over the next year, return to your surgeon. But don't worry! and don't suntan!
