Possible TMJ Problem: Pain in front of the ear, or sensation of pain in the ear with negative findings with your ears could very likely be due to a TMJ problem. If you are experiencing popping or clicking, difficulty opening and eating you should be evaluated by a dentist for a possible TMJ disorder.
