Follow your interest: These are two different pathways that involve rather different patient populations. Hopefully you have had some rotations that exposed you to what those in each area do on a daily basis. If you are truly drawn to family medicine, and can see yourself doing it for decades, go that way.You could come back to pulmonology later.If fascinated by pulmonary, go that route.Follow your interests.
