Treat both nose/lung: Using an antihistamine and a nasal corticosteroid spray for the nose . Using controller medications for lungs (ics spray, montelucast tablet and if severe an ics/laba combo inhaler) treatment before the allergic exposure works better. See your doctor so he can discuss these options with you.

Combination: A combination of treatments may include an antihistamine, inhaled steroid and a leukotriene antagonist. The avoidance of triggers identified on allergy testing is an initial step. A HEPA filter unit helps to reduce exposure to allergens, and follow up appointments with your allergist to discuss immunotherapy is suggested. A virtual Healthtap consultation may provide additional information.
