What does it mean when i get a weird pain in thumb that travels up my arm it is a weird sensation.. pinched nerve maybe? i fell on back multiple times

Cervical disk?: Pain that extends up or down the arm might be due to a cervical disk with compression. The history of falls is also consistent with this. I would get an MRI and start with conservative treatment. Physiotherapy and nsaids work well and often alleviate the discomfort. If ther is any weakness in the arm a consultation with a spine surgeon is recommended.
