I have localized pain on outside of my foot when standing & walking for 4 wks. i stand at work all day, i've not been jogging. relief when sitting. ?

A few possibilities: Depending on where the pain is, this could be capsulits, tendonitis or even a developing stress fracture. Your best bet is to see a podiatrist for an evaluation and x-rays. Treatment will depend on the cause of the pain but rest, ice, good shoe support and maybe some Ibuprofen or Naproxen can help.

Depends: Could be many things like tailors bunion, tendonitis, nerve entrapment etc. See foot specialist to find cause and treatment.
