Patience...: A pregnancy test gives a reliable result, when done correctly, 1 week after missing a period, or 3 weeks after sex (after presumed conception). There is rarely a need to do the test sooner. Doing it sooner increases the false negative rate and leads to repeat testing. Patience is one of the most important virtues for parents when raising children. First morning urine is often more concentrated.
