Heat and hydration.: The size of the veins in the hands and fingers change constantly. The most common reasons for hand and finger veins to increase would be hydration and vasodilation from heat or increased physical exertion. There is also an aging component where the veins would dilate as the tissue volume decreases but this should not be the case in a 24 year old. I do not think that you need to worry about this.
