Any time: Blood pregnancy tests are usually positive a day after the missed period. Home tests may be at that time and are generally positive 4-5 days after missed period. If you are 7 days past missed period; did the home tests correctly, you do not need the blood test as you are not likely to be pregnant. You may wish to see your doctor for ultrasound exam.
