See below: Something else is going on if your arms are giving you trouble as restless leg syndrome doesn't affect arms. You may have neuropathy from your neck in your arms. Consider seeing your doctor for an evaluation.

Usually a reason: When I have senn restless legs progress into the arms it is normally associated with iron deficiency or kidney problems. Sometimes the use of Levodopa can cause that as well. Certainly other causes including neuropathy should be excluded.

Since its more uncommon to have RLS in your arms does that mean there is prob. More going on and maybe warrant having a sleep study done?
I have just been diagnosed with hypoxemia with a sleep study. A sleep study 2 years ago showed significant RLS with legs moving 76 times a hour. Can it be related to the RLS? I also move my arms 12 times an hour. I am on CLonazepam 0.5 mg and Mirapex 0.75
My doc says the sleep study also checks for rls. What would cause someone to have rls?
