Cellulitis of small digit with what looks like a fungal infection. antibiotics since thursday when will i feel better?

48-72 hrs: Cellulitis usually begins to improve i. 48-72 hours on antibiotics if it is a bacterial infection. Antibiotics will not treat a fungal infection, yet a fungal infection can predispose you to developing a bacterial infection. If its been 72 hrs with no improvement, then you may need an adjustment in the antibiotics.

2 to 3 days: The antibiotics are intended to treat a bacterial infection. If there is a fungal component, you may also need an antifungal medication.
