My mother has cellulitis from a infected cyst. they drained it on thursday and on antibiotics since fri . it looks better but still kinda red. when could we expect the redness to be completely healed? im just glad it has improved in redness so far?

Continue antibiotics: Use the full course of antibiotics as prescribed, check any culture results on Monday to guide therapy. Monitor for worsening, but the area should be much improved after 3 days. No additional drainage should occur, and if worsening occurs, please see the PCP again.
