Scar mobilization: You probably had some bleeding there causing a collection of blood, called a hematoma, which can be hard and cause local pressure on the nerves. This can explain some shooting pains and itching. If the nerve itself was stuck by accident, that wouldn't explain the hard feeling. You can massage the area and put compresses on yourself. If there's no improvement, see your doctor.
