Yes: Steroid injections often cause an elevation in blood sugar in diabetics as well as sensitive patients indicating that they do indeed have some systemic absorption.

Steroids: Yes, some of the steroids will be absorbed. If you are having just a few injections then this shouldn't be a problem. However, at some point it can become a problem in some people.

Well: Generally speaking no, however it is known that some steroid can get absorbed by the bloodstream and if the medication makes it back to the muscles you may get inadvertent relief that way.
