This requires: Close coordination with your treating psychiatrist. Risperdal is fda pregnancy category c. You, the psychiatrist and obstetrician would need to carefully weigh out risk to benefit to develop your treatment plan.

Catagory c pregnacy : It is best if you can wean off of the risperadone before you get pregnant, but you need to discuss this with your doctor to make sure it is ok for you too go off of the medication. Call your doctor and discuss this with them before you do anything.
