Yes: No major problem with you taking Accutane and propecia, (finasteride) while undergoing plastic surgery of the nose. Accutane effects the annexal structures of the superficial skin like the pilosebaceous unit which is where acne forms. So, you don't want to have co2 laser therapy or chemical peels due to a concern for scarring and poor epithelialization. Surgery below skin is not as much of a concern.

Accutane and surgery: The recommendation is to wait 6 months after stopping Accutane to undergo any elective procedure. Accutane affects wound healing. There is no contraindication with propecia (finasteride).

No: Accutane causes a major impairment to normal healing. It takes at least 6 months to be reasonably sure that normal healing can be expected after any operation if you've been taking it.
