A member asked:

My 3yr old had bloods done it showed high cretins and low bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

? Kidney problems: If you mean high creatinine and low bicarbonate, (sodium bicarbonate) it may mean kidney disease or perhaps significant dehydration. Ther doctor that ordered the tests should be able to provide explanations.
