Yes: Either the er or a doctor, sooner rather than later. It could be inflammation of the colon called diverticulitis. If it becomes infected it could form an abscess and be a threat. She needs an exam and possibly imaging of her abdomen. Depending on what is found she may need antibiotics and possible surgery. It could be something much more benign, but find out.
