Imaging test that: Are commonly done include ultrasound, ct scan, hida scan, cck-stimulated hida scan, mri. Blood tests are liver function tests, amylase, lipase, ggt.

Common diagnostics: are an ultrasound, which can show stones and other signs of gallbladder inflammation. A CT scan is sometimes done and shows more of the internal organs in the area. Other less frequently utilized tests include a HIDA scan which studies GB emptying, and an MRI which shows the duct anatomy around the GB better. Good luck!
