A member asked:

How do i know when will the doctors know if the bone marrow transplant has worked?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Within 3-4 weeks: Most patients start making new blood from the bone marrow transplant within 3-4 weeks or even sooner if the stem cells came from the peripheral blood instead of the bone marrow.
