Not likely: Studies do not show an association between diet and acne.

ACNE & FOODS: For many years dermatologists have disagreed with the relationship between foods & acne. I am one dermatologist who believes that many foods cause & aggravate acne. These are nuts (all kinds), dairy products (milk & cheese), & high-sugar foods (chocolate & other sweets.) if you have acne, and eat these foods, stop for a few weeks and send me a thank-you note.
