A member asked:

What can i use to protect my newborn from mosquitos?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Avoidance: Keeping a newborn in a safe enclosed environment is the primary protection from biting insects. Mosquito netting and porch screens are helpful if outside. Citronella and other odor generating devices can help but are less effective. I do not bug repellents until after 6m. The perfume products attract bees and the deet products are mildly toxic.
