If i got the flu shot and tdap vaccine while pregnant in the 3rd trimester - how protected is my newborn baby from these diseases? she is 95% formula feed although it has probiotics in it. she will be vaccinated fully as soon as possible at 2 months.

Pretty well: Your body actually pushes the antibodies to these germs you create across the placenta at a higher level per pound than you have. It is no guarantee that she would not get sick if exposed heavily enough, but it is the best we have to offer. Breastfeeding would add some but not as much as the vaccines you took.

Vaccines/pregnancy: Vaccines are not all successful in pregnancy, but some are, and when added to the immune system of the mother in terms of antibody production, they can prevent early illnesses in newborns. Breast feeding can also confer some antibody protection for the infant, but this wears off in a few months , when vaccination of the infant will make the infant produce antibodies him or herself.
