Possibly: It is relatively common for kids to barf immediately or several hours after any head trauma & we occasionally see related headaches come up sporaticly up to 2 wks later. The kid who is not knocked out or disoriented & confused @ the time of the injury is probably fine. Confusion or repeated episodes of vomiting in the hours after trauma deserve a look over by the dr.

Maybe.: If when he fell he hit his head, they could be related. Injuries with any loos of consciousness, protracted vomiting later, unable to arouse from sleep, or change in behavior are ones that need to be seen in the er. Yes the vomiting may be related to his fall but no worries if he is fine and has no other symptoms. If you have any concerns, call your pediatrician. They are happy to help.
