No: Hcg does not help with weight loss. Plus, if you're not getting it on prescription, you're doing it illegally and who knows what you're injecting and how much harm it could cause you. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or the internet.

Be aware: There are no good studies that suggest HCG alone is good for weight loss. In reality, the key to HCG based dietary interventions is that along with HCG supplementation(whether it be injectable, oral or sublingual) is a very caloric restrictive diet(sometimes as low as 500 kcals/day). This is not sustainable in any long run fashion and may lead people to concerning rebound weight gain.
