Several causes: A non-itchy rash that stays for a long while may have several different causes, ranging from mild to more serious. Without a detailed description of the lesions, i would not even try to suggest a cause. See an internist first. Don't try to treat it y ourself.

Depends on the cause: There are many types and causes of skin rashes. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
