CF liver disease: It really depends on the underlying cause. If the jaundice is related to only immaturity of the liver or breast feeding, then it usually clears up in the first weeks to first month of life. If it is related to CF liver disease, then the course is determined by the severity and condition of the liver. Your CF physician and the cff.Org can be contacted to follow up. I hope this helps.
