Would marijuana help plantar fasciitis?

Marijuana: There have not been any specific studies re marijuana on plantar fascitis that i know of but in some states its legal to use it for chronic pain and plantar fascitis for some patients is a long standing problem most cases can be resolved in a short duration 3-6 weeks i would first try , orthotics , stretching , nsaids and see a podiatrist if you have not done so yet.

Not really.: Plantar fasciitis is primarily a problem of inflammation, so an antiinflammatory drug prescription like Ibuprofen or Motrin would be best. Talk to your doctor about prescriptions and dosing.

No: It may make you happier about things but since it is a weight bearing area it will still hurt.

Maybe, but...: We do not know. It certainly has the ability to make you feel better and may relieve some pain. Since current therapy for PF is not reliable or consistent with results, anything that helps you should be considered. Depending on the person, it may be better for you than standard medical drugs you get from the pharmacy or your Doctor, with less side effects.
