Leukoderma/vitiligo: First, you should see a dermatologist to make sure it is the correct diagnosis and not due to some infectious etiologies like tinea vesicular, post inflammatory hypopigmentation like in eczema/psoriasis or autoimmune diseases. Associated conditions like lupus, thyroid diseases... Should be checked too. In short, it is not a bad idea to seek medical help.
