Get this checked...: If you are having blood in your sputum (coughing up blood), this can be caused by several different things such as inflammation of the airways, infections, bleeding disorders, or possibly lung tumors. Coughing up blood can be serious and should not be ignored. If this continues, seek advice from a doc or clinic where you can have an exam with history and possibly a chest xray. Hope this helps.
