Hemoptysis: When you cough up blood - that's called hemoptysis. What matters is 'how much' and 'what' it actually looked like. From your description, this seems minor. What you need to watch out for is continuous symptoms, which could indicate something serious. If in doubt, check with a doctor who can perform a physical to make 100% sure you're OK.
