Caffeine?: Caffeine can exacerbate premature atrial contractions, do you drink a lot of caffeine or eat chocolate with meals? Monosodium glutamate, a flavor enhancer, is also a less common culprit.

Are you sure?: It would be good to know if the premature atrial contractions increase in frequency after meals, or if they are more detectable (symptomatic) with a full stomach? This could be determined by comparing your symptoms with the noted frequency on monitoring. At least you know the extra beats are not very frequent. That's good! dr. Mike.

PACs: 35 pacs in a day is very few and not a cause for concern. Post prandial pacs likely are related to the shift of blood flow to the gut. If your structural tests are normal you'd be best served to ignore the pacs. If you can't treatment to help your symptoms is available. Talk to your dr.
