Is it ok to eat that raisin bran crunch cereal if i have diverticulitis, it has oat clusters and regular oats in it as well.

It is fine: I don't think any foods cause diverticulitis. There is no evidence that seeds, nuts, etc can cause diverticulitis. By the time that stuff gets to your colon it is all the same consistency, so i tell my patients not to limit their diet if they have diverticulosis.
