Long time: Those fractures are not minor it takes quite a bit of force to break off a transverse process it will take ~ 3 months for things to get pretty good.

Take it easy: Most transverse process spine fractures will heal within 3 months with bracing, limiting strenuous activity and close follow-up with a spine specialist. Check out spine-health.Com.
