Most likely: Women can give birth vaginally after a cesarean, this is called vbac (vaginal birth after cesarean), however there are added risks. In some instances, depending on the type of cesarean your wife had, vbac may not be possible. The best thing would be to meet with your ob, be open and honest with your goals and know that ending with a healthy mom and baby is everyone's goal.

Possible: It is appropriate to have a trial of labor after a cesarean delivery. There are fairly specific requirements that need to be met in order to have that trail of labor in a safe environment. Good luck.
