How bad does a. colonoscapy hurt with out being compleatly out?

Not bad at all!: I was curious, so i watched my first colonoscopy. There was very little - if any - discomfort. Remember, they will have an IV line in your arm, and they can give you medications in the blink of an eye. It's really quite interesting to watch. The prep, on the other hand, is a different experience. Don't plan on going shopping. Stay home, and have good reading material available! you'll be busy.
