Get Better Help: Hearing involves external ear, ear drum, middle ear, cochlea, brain stem, brain & mind; increasing complexity out to in. Problems occur in any or all levels. Any competent ENT focused on problem solving (not just what is common/easy, paid by insurance) should easily be able to help you sort out the level(s) with problems. Yet remember, the person in charge with most vested interests is you!

Good evening doctors. I had a hearing test, which showed mild hearing loss in BOTH ears. When I asked the ENT if I needed hearing aids, the ENT said no. With total respect to the ENT, why would hearing aids for mild hearing loss in both ears not help?
