Collection of fluid: Cysts form when there is a layer of cells under the skin that secrete fluid, or some other substance that collects inside. The causes are not know but they can be due to trauma, or occur naturally. They can sometimes disappear by themselves but more often get bigger and can get infected. We treat them when they cause problems. If infected, antibiotics, if painful or growing, removal.
